As the largest city in the Okanagan region with over 100,000 people in population, Kelowna is located along the Okanagan Lake, which is home to the infamous Ogopogo. There are over 100 wineries within 90 minutes of Kelowna. Not only is wine country visible when driving across Kelowna, but also orchards growing some of Canada's finest fruits reside among the rolling hills of the Okanagan.

Kelowna is a popular destination for wines and foods, but it also is a great place for all sorts of outdoor activities. Hiking, biking, horseback riding, zip lining and bungee jumping are all activities that are available right in Kelowna. In addition to the on land activities, there are also all sorts of jet ski and boat rentals available throughout the summer months, to enjoy the Okanagan heat.
