1.  How do I make a reservation?   To make a reservation you can use our website, call reservations at (867) 668.2228 ext 1 or toll free in North America 1.800.661.0407 ext 1, or contact your local travel agent.

2.  What is my Passenger Identification number (PID)?   PID stands for 'Passenger Identification'. Each passenger is assigned a PID the first time they make a booking. It is a unique identifier consisting of numbers and letters which will allow our online booking system to recognize you and your details each time you make a booking, saving you time.

3.  I've forgotten my Passenger Identification number (PID). How do I retrieve it?   You can click here to retrieve your PID online, or contact reservations at (867) 668.2228 ext 1 or toll free in North America 1.800.661.0407 ext 1.

4.  Can I make a booking without using a Passenger Identification Number (PID)?   YES!

Our new booking system allows for reservations to be completed without a PID. Using your PID, however, will allow us to retrieve some of your information and speed up your booking process.

5.  Why do I need to provide my email address?   Your email address allows us to contact you for purposes like:
  • Flight changes
  • E-ticket delivery
Please note your email address WILL NOT be used for promotional purposes, unless you opt for this service during the booking process or through our e-mail newsletter, contests or promotions.

6.  Do I require tickets for check-in?   For your convenience Air North, Yukon's Airline is a ticketless airline. As proof of receipt we continue to forward an itinerary at time of booking via:
  • Email
  • Post mail
  • Fax
All passengers are required to produce valid ID (see below for valid ID specifications) at time of check-in at which time a passenger boarding ticket will be issued.

7.  What type of ID must be shown?   Depending on your age category and your destination, you may require your passport. Please visit the www.passengerprotect.gc.ca website to view what classifies as valid ID per Transport Canada guidelines.

8.  What time must I check in for my flight?   Please allow yourself 90 minutes to check-in at the Whitehorse International Airport, Calgary International Airport, Edmonton International Airport, and the Vancouver International Airport.

We recommend a minimum of 60 minutes prior to departure at the Dawson City Airport, Old Crow Airport, Inuvik (Mike Zubko) Airport and the Fairbanks International Airport (when departing for one of the aforementioned cities).

Remember it is always better to be a few minutes early than a few minutes late!
