WHITEHORSE, YT - 19 November 2020 - Air North, Yukon’s Airline to provide reduced air service for essential travel and cargo as self-isolation requirements expand.

In response to the Government of Yukon’s announcement advising against non-essential travel to or from the Yukon, Air North, Yukon's Airline will be adjusting its operating schedule to provide reduced air service for essential travel and cargo between Whitehorse, YT and Vancouver, B.C. Scheduled service throughout the Yukon and to Inuvik, N.W.T. will remain in place. Schedule modifications can be viewed on our Operating Flights page and are subject to change without notice.

As of 20 November 2020, all passengers (excluding critical service workers) entering the Yukon are subject to a 14 day isolation period upon arrival at their destination. This includes residents of British Columbia, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.

Operationally, Air North will continue to provide essential air and cargo services. Reduced capacity, consolidated flights, and fewer flights each week are all in a continued effort to stop the spread of COVID-19. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We will do our absolute best to provide our passengers with updates about disrupted itineraries. Passengers of cancelled flights will be notified and provided options for rebooking. We encourage passengers to check their email, voicemails and our Operating Flights page regularly for the most up to date information about our scheduled service.

Air North, Yukon’s Airline continues to offer one-time complimentary changes or cancellations for bookings made prior to 31 March 2021. Passengers that wish to modify or cancel their bookings are able to do so online through the manage my booking tool or by contacting Air North reservations at 1.800.661.0407 ext 1. As we are currently experiencing higher than normal call volumes, we ask only those travelling in the next 48 hours to contact us at this time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
