Air North, Yukon’s Airline and China Airlines announce new interline agreement, improving passenger connectivity to the Yukon
Taipei, Taiwan — August 24, 2025 – Air North, Yukon’s Airline and China Airlines are pleased to announce a new interline agreement that will open seamless travel opportunities from Asia to one of Canada’s most spectacular destinations, the Yukon.
This partnership improves passenger connectivity between Taiwan and the Yukon for both leisure and business travel, enabling travellers to book single-ticket itineraries that combine China Airlines flights with onward travel on Air North through key Canadian gateways in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario.
“Welcoming more travellers to the Yukon with China Airlines represents a major step forward for international tourism,” said Denis Parry, Director, Travel Trade & Sales Distribution at Air North. “The ability to connect through major Canadian hubs and fly directly into the territory gives visitors an entirely new opportunity to discover the Yukon’s natural beauty, Indigenous culture, and year-round adventure experiences.”
Thanks to this agreement, travellers from Asia can now more easily access the Yukon's world-class seasonal experiences, including the awe-inspiring aurora borealis in winter, and the midnight sun and untouched wilderness in summer, and all with streamlined booking and baggage handling.
“This interline agreement is another exciting win for our homegrown carrier, Air North, and a testament to its growing reputation on the national and international stage,” said Yukon’s Minister of Tourism and Culture John Streicker. “By opening up new, seamless travel connections, this partnership will make it easier than ever for visitors to experience all that the Yukon has to offer. It’s a welcome boost for our tourism businesses and operators, and a great step forward in strengthening our local economy. We’re proud to see local excellence take flight.”
This partnership also opens doors to explore other iconic northern destinations. Travellers can visit Yellowknife, globally recognized for its aurora viewing, as well as Tombstone Territorial Park, with its dramatic alpine landscapes, and Dawson City, rich in gold rush history and cultural charm. Travellers can now easily plan their northern escape through their trusted travel agent, booking flights via one of Air North’s key hubs in Vancouver (YVR), Calgary (YYC), Edmonton (YEG), Toronto (YYZ), or Ottawa (YOW).
