  • All firearms are subject to inspection on request by the members of Royal Canadian Mounted Police or employees of Air North, Yukon’s Airline.

  • The carriage of ammunition is restricted and subject to rules specified under Transport Canada’s Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations

  • Normal rates will be charged (dimensional weight charges may apply)

  • Shipments must include consignee's name, complete address, contact phone numbers, and most importantly, a Yukon Export Permit

  • Antlers must be completely cleaned and meat free

  • To avoid damage in transit the shipper should crate the antlers. If crating is not possible, in the very least, the antler tips must be covered to protect from damage and protect other cargo/baggage from being damaged. If the antlers are not crated they are to be shipped at owner’s risk and Air North cannot be held responsible if damage occurs.

  • Name and address of shipper / receiver

  • Hunting license number in which the animal was taken with

  • If you were not the individual who took the animal, instead you were gifted or purchased the meat, you will need the hunting license number for which the animal was taken under.
