  • All shipments must be clean and clear of blood and packaged in such ways as no spillage or seepage will occur

  • Outer cartons should be wax treated and the inner carton must be leak proof

  • Each container should be of a size and weight that is convenient for handling

  • Boxes must be able to withstand 2 or more similar containers being stacked on top without crushing

  • "THIS SIDE UP" and "PERISHABLE" must be marked on at least 2 sides of the box and the consignee's complete name, address, and contact information must also be marked on the box.

  • Acquire all permits needed to ship wildlife product out of the Yukon

  • All antlers must be shipped as cargo

  • Normal Tariff will be charged (dimensional weight charges may apply)

  • Shipments must include consignee's name, complete address, contact phone numbers, and most importantly, a Yukon Export Permit

  • Antlers must be completely cleaned and meat free

  • To avoid damage in transit the shipper should crate the antlers. If crating is not possible, in the very least, the antler tips must be covered to protect from damage and protect other cargo/baggage from being damaged. If the antlers are not crated they are to be shipped at owner’s risk and Air North cannot be held responsible if damage occurs.
