Flight no show
September 20/2024 ,yvr-ylw flight was delayed. I have attempted multiple times using website hopefully this time will work. I missed a ride pick up at airport in Kelowna the party had to drive 2 hours back. Spent more money than expected and hours in the airport. Had no luggage as I checked it in . I was at the airport for at least 8 hrs with no answer or solutions. I fly to the Okanogan quite frequently business and personal. Can bc someone explain or provide something. # 24333259
In air service
Hello, Thank you for the ability to rant! I travel via your airline every two weeks too and fro. Most recently aboard fligt 4N 0524. As your comment section is limited I have to be frank. Your flight attendants act now like the LAW and are more interested in forcing rules then providing service. No second drink service. Have us doing there work as in opening every shade upon arrival as if that's a safety issue! They are bitter and annoyed withallpassengers. The only thing you had was your in flight service and agine your flight attendants act like we the customer are an inconvenience.

Emergance row
When I booked my flight online and paid extra for emergancy row witch it said was row 10 and charge me a premium for the seat and when i boarded now row 12 is emergancy row how do I get a refund for the premium seat charge I found this to be incredibly rude

We have booked several flights through Air North, and due to unforeseeable circumstances (Covid, & Wildfires), we have had to make adjustments to our flights. Air North staff were SOOO incredibly helpful and accommodating. They are an airline who actually cares about their clients. Each time I've called, they have dealt with the situation within minutes (where as, the same exact situation with another airline took me through several different representatives, and two and a half hours of my time). Air North treats you like a human, not a number. Thank you Air North for your 5 star service!
Flight attendants
I was on the 905pm flight from Van to whse last night and was sitting in row 20. The flight staff [male] asked him very quietly to put his phone away, the gentleman said he couldn't hear him twice and the Attendant turned away and started talking to someone else..he looked at me said I can't hear very well I didn't hear what he said..he seriously looked sad I told him he asked for u to put your phone away. He said oh ok. I felt that was pretty rude of the Attendant to just stop talking to him. Also I was bumped twice and the lady knew she did and didn't even apologize. I was quiet upset!
2nd time being Embarrassed by Flight attendantnt
Air North Crew have always been helpful to us. But, this is the second time the flight attendant clearly ignored my parents and passed a bad comment to another colleague. The first time it happened with Michelle which I let go that time and now the second time it was the lady attendant in Flight 701 boarded on Aug 19, 2023. Iternary number 23268167. My parents were again with me this time this the lady attendant was so rude to my mom and dad without any reason. I already complained the Melissa at Edmonton Airport. No one boards a flight for getting embarrassed. have them learn customer s.
The Best Air Travel Experience
I travelled to Whitehorse from Ottawa in July and thoroughly enjoyed the trip which is rare these days. The trip was a year in the planning and Air North made it easy and pleasant with helpful agents. Worries about baggage restrictions were non-existant with Air North's generous allowances - such a relief! The flight itself was relaxed and enjoyable. That's something that has been missing from air travel for some years now. The flight crew was cheerfully pleasant and attentive. It's so nice to get 2 meals and a warm cookie - wow. Well done and thank-you. I'll fly with you again
Food complaint part II
There are plenty of people who do not want to eat pork for religious or other reasons. There should be more food options (veggie, chicken, pork) - something like that. I was pretty upset that I got stiffed on my turkey sandwich twice on the way there and back
Food complaint
Hi there, I did not get a sandwich on my flight to Vancouver because they ran out of turkey and I do not eat pork (ham). I was sitting at the back of the plane. I told the guy at the check in counter in Whitehorse that I didn't like pork and he said he would make sure I got a turkey sandwich (which didn't happen). The same thing happened on my way to Whitehorse on the third. The flight attendant ran out of sandwiches and all they had was platter plates with a bunch of pork and cheese. Why does the airline assume that everyone wants to eat pork or that the general population wants to eat it?

Rude flight attendant June 2, 2023 #4N 762; delayed flight without prompt updates; lost luggage!!!!!
1. 1 ½ hour delay in flight without good communication to passengers! 2. Flight attendant with “attitude” (long dark hair) I dozed when 1st beverage service came by. Attendants were 2-3 rows behind me when I woke & realized I missed my drink & pressed the call button. This dark haired attendant called up to me that I’d have to wait (OK). Then she had to add “we are serving other passengers” (OK, the tone had a bit of an attitude) then she yelled to me “you were sleeping”!!! Not what I wanted every other passenger to hear!! UNPROFESSIONAL!! 3. LOST LUGGAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

seat selection problems
my wife and i have flown Air North many times, visiting our grandchildren in Whitehorse. yesterday, we flew Whitehorse to YVR on flight 549 at 1220. i received an email at 1220 on Sat 15th advising to check in online, but when i did so, it showed only 1 seat available. it indciated that we were confirmed on the flight but didnt allow me to select a seat. i tried again on sunday morning, but again, could not select a seat. this is the first time that i havent been able to select a seat on check-in. At the counter, we were told that we had been automatically assigned middle seats, rows 5 and 6.

Can't change a reservation
On March 3 my wife and I made and paid for reservations for a round trip to Whitehorse departing June 1 on 4N540, returning on June 5 on 4N549. On March 9 you advised us by email that you had changed our YVR - YXY flight to 4N570, departing 20:05, arriving 22:30. We really can't take that flight since we have things to do after arrival and it's too late. For the last two weeks I have tried repeatedly to contact you to change our flight to 4N518: departing 11:45 June 1, arriving 14:10. Three emails and many hours of waiting in line on your reservations number and I have made zero progress.
Pathetic Service
I carried only one checked in baggage and it was only 1.6kg above the 23kg limit and they charged me extra $42 and the lady at checked in counter was very rude. Flight 570, Apr 1-2023. Agent ID Berahmandzadehs

I am so excited to find that you are doing a limited flight to Winnipeg. I have wished for years that you would fly there and ironically, I’ve just booked with you to take me to Vancouver, but I have to book another airlines to take me the rest of the way to Winnipeg on May 3 when I will be attending a family function. I do hope you get enough positive feedback to consider making this a permanent stop. I love your airline and wish I could fly exclusively Air North while in Canada. My son Weston Forry
Hi there, my son Weston Forry flies Air North as an UM on a monthly bases to and from Kelowna and Vancouver, he is 8 years old. Tonight I have to give a huge thank you to the flight attendant on board the flight 4N570 from Kelowna to Vancouver that boarded at 6:25pm on February 23rd. My son was very nervous to fly this time and was feeling a bit emotional to fly. I wish I knew the flight attendants name because she really went out of her way and she deserves recognition. She made sure he never felt alone on the flight and helped him to enjoy his time. This made a huge impact on him. Thx!!
Outstanding Customer Service
I wanted to leave my compliments to all the staff. I flew from Vancouver to Whitehorse for a quick day and a half meeting and the service was incredible. Starting at the check-in in Vancouver, super quick and friendly. During the flight, the cabin crew was great and provided outstanding service. The food is also to mention, being a domestic and relatively short flight (2 hours ish, each way), the service onboard was amazing. The best for me was the warm cookie. The way back was no different, great service at the check-in as well as during the flight. Huge congrats to all Air North staff.
I'd Fly Air North Anytime!
I flew with Air North from Toronto to Whitehorse and back in June 2022. This is what service should, and used, to be. I know the larger airlines are struggling, and staff are weary, but somehow this small airline manages to provide the kind of service excellence that we all knew many years ago. Bravo Air North!!
Awesome Experience!
I recently flew from Calgary to Whitehorse return and was so impressed. From reservation staff to airport staff to on-flight staff, everyone was so pleasant and helpful. Not to mention no baggage charge, real food, and warm cookies! Going forward, if I’m travelling anywhere Air North flies, this will be my airline of choice! Kudos on an awesome all round experience!
Best Airline & Employees
It was an honour to have captain Joe Sparling at the helm for our flight. I have been using this route for two years now on the recommendation from a friend. Air North is the absolute best airline that I have ever flown. Their employees are hands down, the nicest, most helpful people in the industry! I will find a way to get my bum in your seats again soon!
Superb Airline
Last month I flew Air North from Ottawa to Whitehorse, return. This was my first trip using Air North. I want to let you know that I thoroughly enjoyed everything about the flight. What a superb airline - the food, flight attendants, and comfortable seating was second to none!! Thank you for the incredible experience!!
Nothing But Praise
My sister arrived back in Whitehorse from Calgary last night. I picked her up at the airport. She had nothing but praise for Air North and said the wheelchair was ready for her as she stepped off the plane here. The Air North agent that I referenced in my Oct. 1st email pushed the wheelchair outside the terminal to the curb where I was parked. She was very helpful and pleasant. I’m certain that our earlier interaction was the result of a misunderstanding. As the saying goes, all’s well that ends well. Thank you for your time
Most Enjoyable Flight
Flight from Whitehorse to Vancouver 5pm 20th September 18. This was hands down the most enjoyable flight I’ve ever been on. Everything was perfect! To start with check in was easy, there was no line up and I sailed into departures. A clean airport with free fast WiFi kept me entertained until my flight began boarding. Once I was onboard I was greeted and welcomed. Once sat down I started chatting to the nice gentleman next to me who flies often so allowed me to take his window seat to view the amazing landscape out the window. Incredible! Next we took off and immediately I watched the cabin crew scuttle around with trolleys. To my surprise (never had this on a short haul flight in Europe) complementary drinks, tea, coffee, sodas etc. Next came a trolley full of the best sandwiches you can get on a flight. I chose turkey but there were ham and a vegetarian options too. Well I was blown away. But it doesn’t end there! The smell of freshly warmed cookies filled the air as these were then handed out. Delicious! I was content and happy, I didn’t need anything else but how could I say no to another complimentary drink as the trolley passed again! Almost immediately after and purposefully timed for our descent a bowl of mints were handed round to help with the turkey mustard breath I had and of course the pressure build-up in the ears. A little turbulence which I always enjoy and a short descent later I was walking off the plane and into dull and damp Vancouver. But who was I to care, I had a full belly and the most amazing week in the Yukon! Thanks for the great flight.
Transporting SPCA Puppies
I am not a comfortable flyer. I usually take Ativan to help me with flying. But flying with Air North is getting me over this fear. Everything about travel with Air North was smooth. We were transporting puppies for the local SPCA, and they were so accomodating about that. Our flight was early, smooth, comfortable and relaxing. Even the puppies were relaxed when we picked them up! The flight back was a little late, but they kept us in the loop about everything that was happening. I may be over my fear of flying! For the record... I've been flying my whole life. Big planes, little planes, long flights, short flight... terrified of them all.
Love the Cookies
All the guys working on the Whistle Bend Care Facility from BC/Alberta that have flown Air North have never had one bad thing to say and have enjoyed flying with them. And love the cookies.
Caring & Supportive Staff
I would like to send my thanks for a wonderful experience flying to the Yukon and back in early August. The staff were caring and supportive. Imagine, being able to check in TWO suitcases, at no charge. Unheard of these days! And again, when I reached out to give my credit card to your onboard staff in order to pay for my sandwich, I got a smile and thank you, and again, no charge. The warm chocolate cookie, candies and pleasantly roomie 737 all added to this delightfully comfortable and comforting experience. A BIG thanks to a great organization! I look forward to my next adventure north, on Air North.
Exceptional Customer Service
I would like to express gratitude to one of your Vancouver Cargo employees named Darren. I was assisting my mother who was out of the country to get her medication shipped to Whitehorse, Yukon. Needless to say, I was not understanding what the specialist doctor’s office was telling me about how to ship medication. Darren was excellent to work with and went above and beyond to speak with the doctor’s office on my behalf to understand what was going on and plan logistics. As a former Air North employee myself, I am so proud that people within the company truly value the needs of others. I wanted to let the company know that he gave exceptional customer service and should be recognized for his efforts :)
Excellent Work
I was surprisingly impressed with our flight to Whitehorse from Vancouver today. First free checked luggage, second ham & cheese sandwich, third hot coffee, fourth warm cookie and last the excellent work of our flight crew. Thanks to all.
You Guys Rock
Yesterday I returned home after a fabulous week in Yukon. My trip began and ended with flights on Air North. I wish you flew everywhere! Imagine having a seat where your knees weren't crammed into the seat in front of you, a meal made of real food included in the price of the flight, warm cookies, flight attendants checking to see if you wanted anything else, and checking a bag without a fee. Every Air North employee I spoke to was friendly, helpful, and seemed to love their job. I so wish you flew more places. I wouldn't consider flying anyone else if I were flying north. Keep up the good job and don't get sucked into the cuts that all of the other airlines seem to embrace at the cost of their customers. Please start a school and teach other airlines how to operate. You guys rock!

The Very Best of Service

My experience with the reservations team was super personable and courteous.
