⚠️ Amazon has recalled Anker Power Banks A1647, A1681 & A1689

Anker has issued a recall for select units of the Power Bank A1647 and Zolo Power Banks A1681 and A1689 sold on Amazon.ca due to a potential fire hazard.

Why This Recall Is Happening

Certain units of these power banks contain lithium-ion batteries that may overheat, posing a risk of fire. While no incidents or injuries have been reported in Canada as of June 18, 2025, this recall is a proactive safety measure.

Only specific serial numbers of these models are affected. To check if your unit is included in the recall, visit Anker’s verification page:anker.com/ca/rc2506

Tip: Pay close attention to similar-looking characters in serial numbers (e.g., “0” vs. “O”, “1” vs. “L”). Affected units do not contain the letters “O” or “I.”
